Deadline for early-bird registrations: June 30, 2012

Participants are requested to register as early as possible in order to secure their preferred hotel accommodations.  All hotel, tour and social function registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All registrations should reach the IFA 2012 Boston Congress Organizer no later than August 30, 2012 to ensure proper hotel reservations.  On-site registrations will be accepted from September 30, 2012.

Your completed registration, accompanied by a payment covering the fee for Congress registration, social events, tours and hotel deposit as appropriate, must be sent to IFA Boston 2012 as indicated on the registration form or on the online registration.

Important:

  • A copy of the bank transfer must be sent together with the registration form.
  • All bank charges related to payments through bank transfer must be paid by the Participant.
  • The name of the Participant must be clearly indicated on the bank transfer. 
  • Registration not accompanied by payment will not be taken into consideration.

 

Registration Confirmation

Upon receipt of your registration and after payment clearance, the IFA Boston 2012 Congress Organizer will email you an electronic confirmation summarizing all registration and accommodation details and specifying payment status.  The email confirmation will include a bar code which will be used for printing your Participant and Accompanying Persons Congress Badges.  Please print the confirmation and bring it with you to the Congress. At the entrance of the Congress, go to the registration desk to scan your bar code and your badge will be printed automatically.   Registration forms not accompanied by payment will not be taken into consideration.

  • Attendance at scientific sessions and exhibitions
  • Printed Congress materials and Congress kit
  • Congress program refreshments
  • Duck Boat Tour of Boston on Sunday, September 30, 2012
  • Lecture on Boston on Sunday, September 30, 2012
  • Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 30, 2011
  • Evening at the Museum of Fine Arts on Monday, October 1, 2012
  • Boston Pops Concert at Symphony Hall on Tuesday October 2, 2012 

 

The registration fee for Accompanying Persons includes: 

  • Duck Boat Tour of Boston on Sunday, September 30, 2012
  • Lecture on Boston on Sunday, September 30, 2012
  • Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 30, 2012
  • Evening at the Museum of Fine Arts on Monday, October 1, 2012
  • Boston Pops Concert at Symphony Hall on Tuesday October 2, 2012 

 

Additional payment is required for the following for registered participants: 

  • Gala Event Evening at the Museum of Science on Thursday, October 4, 2012. Tickets must be purchased prior  to the event via the registration form and are available at $150 each
  • Fees for all Tour Programs
  • Miscellaneous expenses 

 

Cancellation Policy and Refund

All cancellation requests apply to the Congress registration, Social Programs including Gala Dinner, and Tour Programs.  Requests must be submitted in writing to the IFA Boston Congress Organizer and are liable to the following refund policy: 

  • Up to June 15, 2012: refund less handling fee of $100
  • From June 16 – August 15, 2012: refund less handling fee of $300 
  • After August 15, 2012: no refund
  • All refunds will be processed and issued within 30 days after the Congress.
