Hotel Accommodations and Reservations
NOTICE: The Mandarin Hotel is now sold out. Please commence the registration process to guarantee accomodation at your hotel of choice.
Hotel rooms at favorable IFA Congress rates have been reserved by the IFA Boston 2012 Organizing Committee for Congress Participants and their Accompanying Persons. Most of the hotels are within easy walking distance of the Hynes Convention Center. Accordingly, there will be no shuttle buses provided by the Congress between the Congress Hotels and the Hynes Convention Center. Please click here for a map showing the Congress venue and hotel locations.
In order to benefit from the IFA negotiated rates, please make your reservations using the on-line procedure in the Registration section of this website, or by completing the official Congress Registration Form and submitting it as directed on the form.
We would like to request your cooperation when booking your hotel accommodations for the Boston Congress. The Official Congress Hotels were chosen for the numerous benefits they offered the Congress. Reserving accommodations outside the Official Congress Hotel room blocks exposes IFA Boston 2012 to financial penalties. Your loyalty and support is greatly appreciated.
All rates are indicated in U.S. dollars, per night and per room. There is no rate differential between Single and Double Occupancy (one or two persons per room) unless otherwise noted. The rates do not include the current applicable hotel taxes of 5.7% for State Hotel Tax, 6.0% for City Hotel Tax and 2.75% for Occupancy Tax, per night and per room. Total tax is 14.45%.
All reservations will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Since autumn in Boston is a very popular time of year, we recommend that Congress Participants book their rooms as soon as possible.
Breakfast is not included in the room rates. All hotels feature high speed internet in their guest rooms. For more information on the amenities each hotel offers, please follow the links to each hotel’s website as indicated below.
Hotel Deposits and Cancellation
In order to confirm your hotel reservation, a credit card guarantee is required: Visa, Master Card, American Express. Credit cards will not be charged at the time of reservation; the credit card is only to hold the room reservation. Payment will be made directly to the hotel upon checkout.
For those Participants paying by bank transfer, the prepayment of the entire hotel stay is required to guarantee the booking. The amount will be forwarded to the hotel and credited to your account when checking-out.
Cancellations after August 15, 2012 will result in a charge to the reservation credit card of 2 nights.
